Privacy Policy

Dose is an AI personal styling application operated by Dose ("we", "us", or "our"). Our platform helps users organise their wardrobe, receive AI-generated outfit suggestions, and discover new pieces when needed.

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (via Google OAuth through Supabase).

Wardrobe data: Photos and descriptions of clothing items you upload to build your digital wardrobe, including categories, brands, and colours identified by our AI.

Usage data: How you interact with the app, including outfit selections, preferences, and calendar data you choose to sync.

Waitlist data: If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address and the source of your signup.

We use your information to provide and improve our AI styling service: generating outfit suggestions, analysing your wardrobe, tracking cost-per-wear metrics, and personalising recommendations. We also use your email to communicate service updates and, if you opt in, marketing communications.

Dose uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic's Claude API) to analyse wardrobe photos, generate outfit suggestions, and provide styling advice. Your wardrobe images are processed to identify clothing items and their attributes. We do not use your personal data to train AI models.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Dose: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and Anthropic (AI processing). When you purchase items through our affiliate links, the respective retailer will process that transaction under their own privacy policy.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and row-level security policies on our database.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@thedose.app. You can delete your wardrobe data and account directly from the app settings.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
